Cooltong Conservation Park

Cooltong Conservation Park is located 8 km north East of Berri, just off the Sturt Highway. The park contains 3,571 ha of Mallee vegetation, with undulating dunes and shales. The park was dedicated in 1993 to preserve quality Mallee vegetation and habitat for the bird species that frequent the area, in particular the Malleefowl. Bird watching is the prominent activity within Cooltong. The park contains, no facilities, other than one internal track. Camping and dogs are not permitted within this park.
