Fort Glanville Conservation Park

Fort Glanville Conservation Park represents a significant period in South Australia's European colonial history. The Fort was built in 1880 and has remained largely unaltered. The fort is available for hire for a variety of uses including concerts and community activities. The surrounding parade ground and visitor centre incorporating kitchen facilities are also available. The Fort Glanville Historical Association hold open days between September and May on the third Sunday of each month. Guides provide tours while Association members recreate the past demonstrating military drills including cannon firing. A small fee is charged.
